Oriental Party Products & Decorations

Create an oriental atmosphere by clearing a space in your living room and taking on some friends in a Sumo wrestling match. However, if you'd prefer something more delicate to set the theme, maybe hang up some paper lanterns or Asian prints.

Food For Your Party

If you have enough room for everyone to sit, make sure you provide chopsticks as well as forks and knives. Finger food is best when you have lots of people – spring rolls, dimsims, etc. Don't forget finger bowls and napkins.

Some More Ideas

If you can't quite think of where to start, these few ideas might help get the ball rolling.

There are heaps of themes you could choose; Ninjas vs. Samurais, Harajuku girls or come dressed as your favourite Anime character. Chinese whispers is always fun. Perhaps a classic oriental film movie marathon where you could watch (among others) House of Flying Daggers, Mulan and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. But if all else fails – karaoke.
